Biografija

Dr Zdenka Babić je redovni profesor na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu Univerziteta u Banjoj Luci. Doktorirala je 1999. godine na istom univerzitetu u oblasti digitalne obrade signala. Do sada je objavila tri naučne i dvije stručne knjige u izdanju Elektrotehničkog fakulteta i po jedno poglavlje u dvije knjige u izdanju Springera, te više od 70 radova u časopisima i konferencijama na medunarodnom i nacionalnom nivou. Izvodila je nastavu na predmetima: Teorija električnih kola I, Teorija električnih kola II, Analogni i digitalni filtri, Analiza signala i sistema, Digitalna obrada signala, Osnovi digitalne obrade signala, Digitalna obrada slike, Multimedijalni sistemi, Multimediji, Obrada i analiza
multimedijalnih signala (master) i Napredna obrada multimedijalnih signala (doktorski studij). Učestvovala je kao koordinator ili jedan od glavnih istraživaca u više od 40 istraživackih projekata. Bila je prodekan za nastavu i prodekan za naučnoistraživacki rad. Trenutno je šef Katedre za opštu elektrotehniku i šef studijskog programa III ciklusa za Informaciono-komunikacione tehnologije. član je Republickog savjeta za nauku i tehnologiju Republike Srpske. Bila je predstavnik BiH u FP7 ICT programskom komitetu, a sada je predstavnik BiH u H2020 ICT programskom komitetu.
